  • Where do we get the results of our matches? I will be posting scores, handicaps, team results onto our SCE Twilight League website. http://www.sce-twilight-golf-league.com. If you check it out now, the rosters, rules and league format, and pairings have already been posted. Also, you can take a look at the Y/E tournament results for the the past few years.
  • What is our scheduled tee time each week? Our first tee time with the Whittier Narrows golf course (River course) is 4:15 on Monday and Tuesday night. We have 16 golfers scheduled to play each night (4 groups). Please try to arrive at the course no later than 4:00. The captain will assign your tee time based on when your full group checks in. All 4 of you needs to be checked in to be assigned a tee time. If we don’t have enough full groups checked in by our first scheduled tee time of 4:15, the pro shop starter can (and will) send out other groups to the first tee in our place.
  • What is the green fee? $19.00. You can also get into our TGL gross skins side bet for an additional $5, payable to the night captain. See rules in website for details.
  • I’m new, what should I expect on Week #1? First, make sure you get to the course by 4:00 (very important). Our night captain will be sitting at a table in the area outside the restaurant. Check in with him and pay your $19 green fee before you practice (range or practice putting green). Try to have exact change for the captain; it’ll make his job easier. Be ready to head out to the first tee if it’s open. Also, you can expect the following perks for being a SCE Twilight golf league member:
  1. $1.25 cup draft beer from the restaurant.
  2. Free eats. A plate of appetizers from the restaurant (chicken wings, french fries, onion rings) will be on the check-in table before each round. feel free to help yourself.
  3. Cart Fees are no longer discounted for the league.  You will have to pay the normal price.

That’s pretty much it. Remember to keep up with the group in front of you. Marshalls can kick you off the course if you play too slow. This will result in an automatic forfeit of match and team points. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to call or email any of the list committee members.
